Favorites that are only avail. in stores during the Holidays
There are certain things that I LOVE but generally are only sold in the grocery stores over the holidays.. granted I could make these things but *shrug* I think I appreciate them more when I only get them a couple times a year (not to mention they are usually not the healthiest)
What are your favorite holiday foods that only seem to come around once a year?
For me without a doubt its Egg Nog and Lefsa mmmmmmmmm

OMG, CANDY CORN! My absolute favorite and a killer when it comes to calories. Glad Halloween is over!
Blue Bunny makes peppermint ice cream sandwiches...they're AWESOME.
Also, I liked the Edy's flavors that were around when they were selling Girl Scout cookies....nothing like thin mint ice cream!
Ah! I totally forgot candy corn! I live for candy corn around October. :P

They used to make these winter Oreos that were covered in white chocolate... And my dad used to freeze them so they were really crunchy. DELICIOUS!! We haven't been able to find them for the past couple of Christmases though... :'(

Trader Joe's Peppermint JoJos. I will resist this year. I will resist this year.
Last year, I didn't even try to resist - a delicious oreo-like cookie only more delicious, with a peppermint creme filling that includes crunched up peppermint candy in it. Dip it in coffee or hot ovaltine cocoa.... good lord.

they also sold these delicious Dark Chocolate Mint Cookie Cheers that came in little containers like Ben & Jerry's ice cream. was like crushed Girl Scout thin mint cookies rolled into a ball and covered with dark chocolate.
And I wonder how I got this big.
