Feaking Out!!!

Quote  |  Reply

Help! I've gained 5 lbs. since Monday, and it's Saturday. I haven't varied anything significantly - same caloric intake, regular exercise (45-60 minutes per day). It's close to TTM, but I never gain more than 1 or 2 lbs. for that. Any suggestions?

Well, if you havent varied caloric intake significantly, then it must be extremely unlikely that you ate 3,500 calories over maintenance 5 times since Monday. It's clearly not real weight gain.

In that case, you have to assume that it's one or a combination of the millions of other reasons our scale weight can fluctuation: sodium, water retention from that or ttom or building muscle from exercise, weighing at a different time of the time, weighing after eating, the scale just being messed up...

I know it's tough when you are trying to lose weight, but step away from the scale. Try weighing again next week.

I am struggling with the same problem.  I don't understand it either.  I am hoping that it is muscle weight or water weight.  I mean I work out 6 days a week for 2 hrs each day.  If you want to chat and talk about workouts just send me a message.
