Hey dbackerfan, Can I offer a suggestion?

How about 900 minutes in February, as it's actually *3* days shorter :) It's still averaging up to a little over 30 minutes a day :)

What sort of help are you looking for?

Also, yes, either fitness seems an appropriate forum :) But, then, so is this one. :) So.. whichever :)
hkellick - if folks want seperated threads then I would need volunteers from each "time" to monitor and do their own thread.
That's about all I can think of right now.

My February goal is 1750 since weight training and my aerobic class start up again
I am going to put 1750 for this month.  As long as Feb. is healthier than Jan!
Ooh, I am in this month. My goal is 2500, based on previous months average.
I think I'll sign up for 2000!
count me in!  i do think we should seperate the goal groups as some people are not physically able to reach each level and we don't want to discourage the people who can only do 750 and are doing their best to make that goal.  each group should be a team (750, 1000, 1500 etc) and we compete against each team to meet our goals.  the team that comes closest to meeting or exceeding their goal wins  put me down for 1500!  one more thing i think this should be moved to the fitness category.
I would love to sign up for this however I am a just getting back into exercise and dont know what a reasonable goal is for minutes for the month. I also joined the abs challenge so that will help. I would like to do 10 minutes of abs, 10 minutes of jump rope and 10 minutes of jogging on the spot every day but that only equals 840 minutes for the month, BUT that is 840 more minutes of exercies than I had last month.  This will be fun and interesting to see that changes by the end of the month. Good luck everyone!
Meryiah - It sounds like the 750 minute would be a good starting point.  Slow and steady wins the race!!!!
Are we really so fragile that seeing someone do a lot of exercise is discouraging? To me, it's inspiring...

I can see making separate threads in order to divide the work up so that dbackerfan isn't stuck with all the updating and it makes sense to keep goal groups together....

I think it belongs in the games forum.  Challenges are the reason Erik & Igor created the games forum.
I am with Nomo. Everyone has their own goal. We are here to encourage and support everyone! We all started somewhere. ;-)
I'll sign up for the 1000 again (Id go higher.. but february is a short month :P )
Keep those suggestions coming and ya Nomo - updating is a challenge and with Spring Training starting in February I'm gonna be even more limited for time - got my XM radio all set for the games LOL!!!   Go Diamondbacks!!!
I would love to be a part of this challenge. My goal is 1000, and I think this is just what I need to get there!
dbackerfan, I would be glad to post and update one of the threads for February- no problem

you just let me know which one  =)

spring training - that's baseball, right?  ;)
nono- hey i gotta respect everyone's opinions.  your's made sense to me and i didin't really think of the inspiration factor in there :)
tha's cool little miss moffitt!  =)   props to you too -- your heart is in the right place!

Hi

I am interested in signing up. I am new to this site (Just started today in fact).
I was wondering if you could just brief me on what the rules are, and how to proceed with the challenge.

Thank you in advance, I look forward to participating.
HAVE TO REVISE MY PRIOR GOAL.  THINK I NEED TO STICK TO 1500 FOR FEBRUARY. Pls put me in again for February for 1500.  Thanks again for this challenge.  I'm definitely forcing myselft to find more time to get my exercise in so that I can meet my goal by the end of the month.  (Will go for the 2000 in March!!)
I'm a newbee here (4th day).   I would like to sign up for the challenge for Feb.  I think 1000 would suffice.  Where do I find the rules?
