That word really makes me laugh.
Alright, being serious now. My diet consists of lots of fruits and veggies - infact, that's most of it. However, I feel like I've been constipated over the past week. How can I uh.. get things moving again? I barely ever drink water because most of the food I eat has a high water content (lots of apples, oranges, tomatoes, etc). So should I start downing the water?
I usually have a pretty flat tummy, but now it looks like I have a tapeworm. ): So I ask you, bloated and unhappy, what can I do? Thanks in advance, any advice muchly appreciated...

Definitely start drinking more water. There is no substitute.
And up your fiber!

Maybe try eating more foods from other food categories. You need to have a balance of protein, and carbs and fats in your diet as well. Of course you feel bloated! The same thing happens to me too. Just make sure to try and balance out your meals more.
You should drink more water. Flavored water and things such as Crystal Light are easy ways to get more water w/ flavor.
Try Senna laxatives. Also food high in sugar alcohols have a laxative effect. You can find those in sugar free gum, pudding, and candy, and raspberries.

You should never not drink lots of water just b/c you're consuming foods with high water content. I eat huge amounts of fruits and veggies and I still drink 2L a day.
a teaspoon or two of vinegar.
Here is the too-much-info part of my post: senna laxatives made my butt hurt really bad! All joking aside cuz I do love poop and butt jokes, it really made my butt-hole burn, ow. and that was after it made me scramble to get to the bathroom.
2 Fibercon tablets with a full glass of water works for me. No bananas and no cheese, those are big constipaters (or something... binding is the word I was looking for).
Also, a cup of coffee always does it for me if all else fails.
I would not attempt any of this before:
1) a hot date
2) a job interview
3) sitting in LA traffic.

My doctor recommended a tea called "Slim-Mate Dieters Tea" It did the trick for getting the traffic flowing :o)
P.S. Its by Tadin Herb & Tea Co out of California - I've only bought it from the doctor - not sure how easy it is to find online - a thought - I look!

ok so I found www.tadininc.com and in their catalog it said that that tea for 25 bags was 1.99 - could that really be right?
Oh, knipp100, I know what you mean about the senna! I once drank a tea with senna leaves in it just before bed time. And it worked so well and the next morning, I had to call in sick from work because I was experiencing the worst cramps ever.
Okay - first of all, why did so many people view this post WHEN IT HAS THIS TOPIC NAME? Ew. And why am I one of them? Double ew.
Now on to the actual topic of this post..which is..er...feces?
o_O
You should try eating some high-fiber bran cereals, dried fruit, black coffee on an empty stomach, and yes, drink at least 8 cups of liquids (any liquid) a day..don't drink anymore than 3L though, as it is possible to drink too much.
If you try this for a week and you still can't go, go to a professional doctor and get a prescribed laxative/enema.
