feel dizzy, light-headed, queasy

Help me out here guys, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'm 5'9" male, started a week ago at 206 and calorie-count said I burn 2400 calories per day.  To reach my goal I should eat 1650 per day.  In the past week what I've actually eaten is about 1700-2100 every day.

At first, I thought I wasn't getting enough protein, but I had 2 omelette's, one for breakfast and one for lunch with egg beaters instead of eggs and the 2nd omelette I packed on chili for extra calories and protein.  I'm still feeling a little dizzy.  What do i do?

Have you cut back on refined or processed sugar? My first week I was very woozy. I was definitely having enough calories, but my body was adjusting to being completely off white sugar.
Let see, you had a total of 14,194 calories for the week, I am assuming that this is for 7 days, so that is an average of 2,028 calories per day.

Are you doing any form of exercise? Are you drinking enough water?
i was woozy when I first got my water intake UP to the apropriate
level... I got over it, but ti took a while.  Also, make sure
you're spacing your meals out through the day, your blood sugar levels
are going to be walking a little closer to the edge than you're used to
until they stabilize.
How are your carbs, sometimes lack of carbs can make you feel that way and lack of water as well. I was on south beach diet and the first 2 weeks I did not have any carbs so I was also dizzy. If you don't feel better soon, check with your doctor maybe it's your blood pressure. Good luck.

dizzy lightheaded queasy?  count your blessings - at least you know for sure you aren't pregnant!

Seriously, good luck with this.  I agree that you need to report this to your doctor and if you haven't had a complet physical, get one, complete with all the tests.

Are you drinking alot of coffee or tea?  Speaking for myself, when I cut back on the calories but keep my caffeine the same, it can cause a little bit of dizzyness.
Everything apprears normal as far as your calorie intake and carb/fat/protein % ratio.  I'd make sure you are drinking enough water as the others have already mentioned and just watch it for another week.  It could just be that your body isnt used to the change yet and the drastic change in diet has thrown your body chemestry off a bit.

I'll chime in as well by saying that I felt a little dizzy the first two weeks on my low-cal diet.  I was fine most of the time, except when I would turn my head too quickly or other motions like that.  It could be your body just adjusting to the new diet.

But keep tabs on it and make sure to see your doctor if you think it's dangerous.
