I feel GREAT!
Today I took a walk on my 15 minute break (1 mile), and then at lunch, since it's such a beautiful day, I took a 2 mile walk. I feel so good right now. I know that I can do this, and it's just making small changes each day that will make the biggest difference. I wanted to know if anyone else did something today or this week that they feel great about?

I don't post often, but wanted to let you know that just reading your post made me smile!

I did that on Monday and was amazed at how much better/refreshed I felt when I got back to my desk after a quick 15 min walk. I had never used my breaks for walking before, but after 6 months of regular exercise, I just get antsy sitting at a desk all day. Now I'm thinking I might take a walk on my lunch break too. Thanks for the reminder of how great it feels!
I've been walking on my lunch break for about a month and have been meaning to start going to the gym after work. Yesterday, I went to the gym for the first time in like forever. I ran 5 mph for 30 minutes, walked 4 mph for 30 min, lifted weights, and stretched. I was so tired but also really happy when I finished. My feet hurt today though, so instead of running/walking today, I'll swim for an hour.
I have not yet started walking on my lunches though I do walk on both of my breaks (most of the time).
To answer your question about doing something good I turned down a donut this week. I know it is not a lot but I felt so good and free when I said no.
Keep up the good work and I have to say 2 miles in 30 minutes is awesome. I am afraid I am a slow poke and might...MIGHT be able to do a mile and a half in that time.
