I feel great for the first time in a while and I haven't lost an ounce.

I just adopted a puppy, Oskar. I'm not as preocupied with my weight now, I barely look at the scale anymore. I'm getting more excercise and getting out more. I wake up earlier to take care of him. I don't snack as much. I feel better about myself because my puppy loves me no matter what.

More than my weight goal, my goal is to have a better self image. I'm there.

( I had been wanting a puppy for a while now... I seriously don't suggest going to get a puppy if you feel bad, haha. I have a schedual where I am busy a lot but I am home frequently- work at home, and school is a few blocks away.)

Hi,

I just got a new puppy recently as well and she definitely takes my mind of ME because I have to care for HER - she's no. 1.  It's funny how dogs make you feel good.  Someone is ALWAYS happy to see you when you get home - even though they've been in their kennel all day, they're in a good mood no matter what!!  I'm glad you're feeling great about yourself!

Living things to take care of are really great therapy. Your concerned about that instead of yourself.
