I am a vegetarian I have a question. I actually feel lighter then when i was eating meat, its hard to explain and I've tried looking online for anything like that but have found nothing. Am I going crazy?

What are you eating as a vegetarian? Perhaps you are eating foods that make your body feel heavy.
I know meat tends to stick around in your system for longer than other foods. What are you meals like now as a vegetarian?

I eat a lot more vegetables and grains, and for dinner i usually eat something boca or morningstar. I eat good-sized meals and only have 1000 calories a day. I usually only drink water or ginger ale. I don't feel like weight lighter, seeing as how i've only lost two lbs, but i just feel lighter somehow.

I think I kind of know what you mean.  Especially before I went completely veg - whenever I ate a veg meal as opposed to an omni meal, I would always feel refreshed,  light, and just really good after eating it.  When I ate omni meals, I would often feel bloated, overly full, and uncomfortable.  It is probably partially mental, or maybe your body really does "know" you are eating better!? :)

Thanks fuzzys, its nice to know that i'm not going completely crazy!

im sure someone would say it sooner or later, but 1000 calories is not really considered enough by any nes judgement. maybe thats why you feel lighter? because you are waaaayyy below maintence and into the rhelm of survival?

i am vegan, and at first i definitly felt lighter, but now that im used to it its like anything else, but i do feel cleaner and more satisfied with my meals. i feel clean. which is kind of like light.
