Do not feel like I can go to the gym tonight

ugh Embarassed. im feeling ok, but i have a little embarrassing problem that i wouldn't want to expose my fellow gym-goers to. so now im mad i can't go to the gym, too dark to take it outside. wish i had the space for a home gym. i guess i can just do some yoga or something.

anyone else feel my misery?

Not to mention that those craps are a thousand times worse than cramps in the legs from squats. I'll take those anyday! Once you stop the squat, they go away! lol

Yup...it's better to not go.  I took that chance and just ended up being mad at the fact that I had to jump off the treadmill and run to the BR every 5 minutes!  Wasn't worth it.  Just rest up and save your energy for a fantastic workout when your feeling better!

thanks guys. its really just the 'air' part that's going off. it started with the afternoon coffee.

but you reminded me of one of the stupidest things i did once. i ate not one, but two bowls of bran flakes then i went running on the treadmill at the gym. oh baby!  after 10 minutes, yikes! bran + run = future cure for consitpation.

why dont they have a wrinkled nosed emoticons? i think cc should upgrade their emoticons, the range is very limiting.

How about this one Sealed maybe it's wearing a surgical mask to avoid the smell.

ha ha. cute. ok that one will do. luckily my husband isn't home yet. well at least now i can eat.

Do something light at home, like stretching, yoga or pilates. Some calbe companies (COMCAST) have free On Demand workout programs. I do one in the morning...Yoga AM? At first I htought, this work out is too easy. Then later in the day I was feeling it in my abs. The same is true for the begginers pilates.Either way, stay active Smile I wish the people at my gym were half as conciderate at you.

 You really are very kind.  I wish the guy on the threadmill next to me last night would have been as kind.  I seriously thought the guy must have crapped his running shorts, and to top it off, he had BO.Tongue out   I finally had to just get off and finish on the track.

Betz, you don't workout at the GoodLife gym at Tecumseh and Lauzon in Windsor do you?  If so, I apologize profusely...lol....blame it on the beans!!!...lol...

I actually was doing jumping jacks in between my sets like always this morning, and out of NOWHERE came a perty loud one! haha Luckily the only one anywhere near me had on headphones! haha I did too so I couldn't hear it, but......hahahah

I am a workaholic so i never had time to go to the gym. I am also really self concious about my athletic ability or lack thereof.

I went on craigslist, and everyone is always selling their old equipment on there. Bought a nice elliptical trainer for 200 bucks!  Now I can work out at home and I work out almost every day!

Still figuring out the weight training though- bought some little weights, thinking about buying some resistance bands, maybe a video?

Vicki, a woman admitting she toots?  I never thought I'd see the day...lol.

Ravan, throw away the little weights, they won't do you any good.  Get something that taxes your muscles, it'll keep you toned much better and help with weight loss if that is your goal.

Ravan, I agree w johnny....grab some heavier weights....you can find those on craigslist also, used benches and weight sets w bars. OR, I bought all of mine at home from walmart....the actual bar and weights are fairly cheap and they have cheaper sets of them.
