Hi everyone. I am new at the online group thing. But I need help and advice. I am 5'6", I am not sure how many calories I usually eat in a day but I have been maintaining 147-150lbs for about 5 months. I have a small build and would like to get to 130lbs. My calorie count journal says to maintain I need around 1950 calories to maintain, and that if I bumped it down to 1460 a day I would lose about a half a pound a week. I have been trying to keep it at 1460 but I feel so hungry. Is it possible that 1460 is not enough for me? I am lightly active. I'm a mother so I cook clean and care for kids all day, I excercise here and there but really not enough to count. I am frustrated beacause I feel like I may never get down to my goal weight.

you need to maybe eat smaller more plates. Do you eat 3 times a day or 6 times a day? try to eat something every three hours maybe that will remove the hunger monster.
I eat three meals a day and a snack between breakfast and lunch, and then a snack between lunch and dinner. Thank you for the advice. I will definetly try eating more, smaller portions.
Protein and Fibre help you feel fuller for longer. Try making sure all of your meals/snacks have a bit of each. That might help
