feeling bad

Quote  |  Reply
Okay, I feel like I over ate big time because I eat 1,200-1,300 no matter if I work out or not. So I haven't been losing so someone said to up my calories to 1,600 since I burned 400 at the gym, but I feel like I cheated and I feel over stuffed. I know people say this is the only way it will work but I feel like I gave up.

Not compensating for gym Calories is cheating and will hurt your progress. If you feel too full, go with something healthy and high in calories - adding olive oil to a meal is always a good option.
Yup. You need to eat enough to lose weight. Really! I lost over 50 pounds eating between 1500-2000 calories a day -- my average was around 1650, and I was happy if I ate that 5 out of 7 days. (The other two days, if I ate at maintenance, that was okay with me!)

You are young, so it's especially important for you to eat well and definitely to eat enough. You can do this; we can help! :-)
*hugs* i completely know how you feel.  I was eatting 900 calories a day and now I have to up my calories to at least 1200.  I feel so horrible about it! But this what we gotta do.  Try and enjoy it... its tough but eat some nuts!
