im sorry its been a hard day, waycat is right we need you on board , so get yourself home and relax do something you enjoy as long as its not to vigorious :) tomorrow is a new day you can do this hugs h x
hey driven - I can sympathise - have been feeling the same the last day or two. Take the others advice and try to enjoy something that relaxes you but what i am doing food wise is putting myself back on a temp meal plan for the next few days to make sure I end up eating enough during a time when I am feeling like restricting - might be helpful for you too?
Also - I cannot speak more highly of peppermint tea for calming the tummy when bloated! :)
Jeez thanks guys, really appreciate the words. My form is ok, just ed was shouting at me, but im still happy.
Foodwise, thats a great idea eringo, to be conscious to eat enough despite being aware of ed presence. This can be hard to do if form is good because i dont think ed is that present cause usually when it is im in bad form. So, despite being in good form, i need to be aware of eds presence and eat enough.
but the tummy trouble makes choosing food harder?trying to choose things that will ease the digestion (a lot of that could be my ed though) suggestions? do i eat normal?or choose things good for digestion?

Hi driven - I guess maybe have a think about whether it is your ED telling you that you are having trouble digesting food or if you really are... it may be a bit of both but if you are feeling nervous about eating a certain type of food maybe you are talking yourself into thinking you have a problem digesting it? Sometimes I used to think this e.g. was convinced milk really upset me but it was just ED telling me it was bad.
I think try to have a combination of foods - maybe a balance of foods you think are good digestive wise but make sure you aren't sticking to restrictive or safe choices only but obviously don't eat things that make you feel even worse bloat wise! Sorry not super helpful!

I hear you on the sore tummy-ness! This morning I drove to uni at 6:40am as usual, but halfway there my stomach started HURTING. Like really badly. I was practially screaming, but had to keep driving to avoid crashing. I turned around and came home (25mins driving with huge pain, feeling nauseous, trying to not hyperventilate) and it turned out it was my digestive system WORKING - I had to go to the toilet (TMI, sorry) for the first time in days. It was just cramping intensely for some reason.
But seriously.. that was some pain. I still feel kinda yuck too. As for advice, I'm sorry I don't really know what to say other than the good advice already given! I'm not very good at advice giving. If you really truly think your digestion is giving you trouble then I would go for things that will ease it. As long as they're not super low calorie or whatever, just be sensible. You don't want to eat things that may make your constipation WORSE that may cause more probs in the future.
But you know what you need to do. Eat to gain. Just be easy on the ol' tummy for a day :)
Thanks guys! i know what u mean, its hard to tell the difference between ed thoughts about digestion and regular thoughts about digestion.

I think ill just keep on eating what i was eating, but maybe cut out the amount of dried fruit i was eating. Because I dont eat that many foods that would give a reg person bad digestion. Ill go back on my digestive enzymes too. I actually am lactose intolerant though, so cant have too much dairy.

I'm feeling pretty gosh awful about my body today, too.
Oddly enough though I'm feeling really good about everything else, so I guess I should think about it in perspective...
GAH - I HATE FEELING THAT WAY and let me tell you... I feel that way probably 1 or more times a week - ha ha! But to get through it, talk to my self in the mirror and continually reassure myself that I'm "hot stuff" just to boost my confidence level! Doing such dorky things definitely works! As long as you don't let anyone around you know that you feel yucky - and just show confidence in yourself, you'll be able to get through your no-so-lovely day without a hitch!
As for constipation: well get some fiber & water into you STAT: I hope you have LOADS of veggies waiting for you for dinner! ha ha!
