So I am holding off until tomorrow for my last lift of the week.  Good news is that my thighs have begun to hurt a whole lot less.  But I just couldn't face the workout today, and like Lord melkor says, don't workout if you're dreading it.

Besides, kinda hurt my back some trying to get dad in the truck yesterday.  Feel it's best to heal for another day.

Though the new setup with heavy/medium/light should be doable for 6-8 weeks at a time before you need a break, that's only if you aren't doing other things on top of it - like building greenhouses or running a farm. The schedule and program isn't meant to be a straitjacket, it's meant to codify certain behaviors that maximize the long-term results - and that includes taking time off when you're feeling beat up.
