I GET THAT TOO!

I was in the ER last night for 8 hours for lower left pain.  I wish I had some info for you, but I walked out I was so angry.  They did a CAT scan and said nothing was noticeably wrong/bad.

I *think* that is muscular.  I was worried about it being something intestinal but it seems to be bothered when I do alot of elliptical/cycling.

Be concerned = yes, but don't worry too much.  If it gets bad (mine was to the point where I couldn't stand M & y'day) go to a doc.  Track it on the pain scale - doc at above 5 (that's what the nurse said to me at the hospital yesterday).

Good luck - keep movin (it usually helps more than hinders)

Could it be a 'stitch'?  That's quite a normal reaction to exercise.

It was probably a 'stitch' or cramp. You get them in your side and chest too. Nothing to worry about :)

wierd!!! I just experienced this for the first time last night.  I was running on the treadmill and 10 mins in It was SO painful! It made me feel almost bloated too? ew.  I had to stop b/c it was just so bad. hmm...

es it feel like someone is poking a pin through you.  I call this my voodoo pain.  Whenever I get one of these pains, I think someone is playing with the voodoo doll they made of me.
Is it one of those pains where you kind of want to double over and say, "Ow, my ovary.."

I asked my Dr about this one and he asked me if my stool looked like little marbles that sank to the bottom of the toilet. I was shocked and said, "Yes"

Turns out I wasn't getting enough fiber so I was a bit constipated and that pain was from, I guess, those marbles making there way out! LOL

Yeah, that was back in the day where I thought 1 meal a day was just fine and dandy.......I was sooooooo stupid.

If it's in the lower right side, then appendicitis could be a concern.  Been there, done that, it freakin hurt!

If the pain only comes on during exercise, most likely it's a muscle? I get "stitches" in my side like that during workouts sometimes, but they are higher up, around my ribs. However, if you are having intense pain, it's always good to have a dr check it out. A few years ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with super intense pains in my lower right abdomen....went to the ER, they thought it was appendicitis....nope. Ovarian cyst? Nope. Turns out I actually had a fibroid the size of a baseball on my uterus....good times!

just get anything checked out. I had a very minor pain in my side, I went to bed, woke up and it felt better. But since Im a worrier, I went to the ER (it was a sunday, docs werent open) and turns out I had to get emergency surgery for appendicitis...and i really wasnt in much pain-onl when i stretched or pushed on my side really hard. So just be vigilant.

i think a lot of people get cramps when they run.

i always get side cramps on my right side, but i hear its because you're not breathing correctly from my "runner" friends. when it happens i try to take deeper breaths and i just run through it. it usually goes away. not sure if this is good or bad. ha.
