So after talking with a nutritionist, it has been established that I do need to eat a few more calories a day. But I just ate a lot of peanut butter (about 1/4-1/2 cup) to catch up to get up to 2500 (since I burned about 2000), and I feel so sick to my stomach now since too much fatty foods makes me feel nauseous. Any ideas on how to make my stomach feel better?

Try some warm drinks.... tea isn't bad.  But other than that, it's a question of waiting for it to digest.   Try to plan your days more in future so that you're not playing catch-up at the end of the day.   And if you can't stomach too many oily foods how about eating something like dates..?  Just 5 dates are 250 calories.

Good advice from gi-jane as usual!

Next time you want peanut butter, make your snack a little more sensible.  An apple with less peanut butter would help because the fiber gets the fatty food moving, or at least I've found it so.

Did you eat the peanut butter with anything? Don't try to get all of your fat at one time. Or any other one of the food groups for that matter. Plan your meals and snacks. I eat peanut butter on a pita with banana for a morning snack. 1 1/2 tbs of peanut butter. Balance and plan.

Ah, I just figured it was the msot fattening out of all the foods I had available (the only other foods I had were fruit and vegetables), and I thought that if I ate it with the vegetables or fruit, I would get too full too quickly.  Thanks for all the help!  Would mint tea work (in case next time this happens again? XD)

Mint tea's quite good as a general 'digestif' but it probably wouldn't make something as heavy as peanut butter process any quicker.

How can I make walking fun?

You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
