One time, for some inexplicable reason, when I was around 10 or 11, I think, I was certain that if I went to bed, I would die in my sleep and never wake up.  I was perfectly healthy and was not upset about anything that day.  But I was convinced that if I went to sleep that night, I would die.  I don't know where that fear came from.  Maybe it's just a fear that manifests itself in times of extra anxiety or stress.  Have you been feeling stressed lately?  Try not to worry, though--you'll be ok!

All the time!  I had daily crazy and oppressive paranoia and feelings of impending doom for 15 years while on birth control pills.  LOL.  Yeah, I'm joking, but it's the honest truth.  Seriously, though, I agree with rat.  If you're stressed, it could be that.  It could be that you're really subconsciously worried about something else, and this is how it manifests.  That happens to me all the time.  I can usually figure out what I'm really worried about if I take an honest peek around inside my dysfunctional brain.  It still doesn't help the paranoia always, though.  Just try to relax and do something soothing and/or distracting.  I'm sure (hope) you will be ok.  Call or IM a friend (not the sex pic one, though!), if possible, if you need to talk, not necesssarily about what's bothering you, just to take your mind off things.

aw thanks guys :) Yea I'm sure I'll be fine, and yes, i've been pretty stressed out lately. Its just weird how your mind can play tricks on you though! Thanks again.

And yea that sex pic friend totally added to things. He's totally off my aim buddy list.

I spent an entire day cleaning my apartment from floor to celing, for reasons i couldnt understand. Then that night a fire broke out, (4 units burned to the ground) and we had to move the next day. Thank goodness everything was clean and where it needed to be.

When I was around eight or so, my dad was driving me home from a sleepover.  When I got in the car, I wanted to put my stuff on the passenger side in the back seat and then sit on the driver's side.  My dad and I actually got in an argument and I reluctantly finally got in on the passenger side.

He made a wrong turn somewhere and needed to turn into a driveway to make a U-turn.  It was winter, so the roads were snowy and icy.  A lady came into view around the corner as he was pulling out of the drive-way and for some reason, the brilliant lady never thought to step on the breaks.  There was plenty of time for us to get back on to the road but she just kept ploughing forth.  She ended up totalling the entire passenger side of our car (yes, the side that I had initially refused to sit on).

To make matters worse, the girl proceeded to call her father who then came and acted as if it was our fault that his daughter is incapable of driving.
