Yesterday a very nice customer of mine brought in a three layer chocolate cake with fudge icing. What 30 year old woman in her right mind could resist such temptation? Not I.

I ate a HUGE piece. It would have been 3 pieces for a normal person. I tried to make up for it by walking as fast as I could around the 2.5 mile track, but alas, I did not burn off all the claories the cake bestoed.

I vowed to be better today. I started the day off really well, but then I ordered what I thought would be a low-calorie healthy lunch. (portabella mushroom panini with avacado, onion, tomato, and cucumbers--and a mysterious white sauce...) I find out that this delicious sandwhich is almost 900 calories!!! WTF!!!

So for dinner my husband and I go out and have what I think will be a very helathy dinner (tuna steak and salad), but then I go and ruin it all with a piece of pecan pie.

So 2500+ calories later, I am here venting about my downward spiral.

Anyone out there share my insanity?
