I fell off the Food Wagon and need to jump back on!!!!!!!
Hey, no big deal! 4 weeks and 4 pounds is AWESOME! So you binged yesterday -- go back to normal today, drink a whole lotta extra water and maybe push your workout a little harder. Bottom line is, in the grand scheme of things you've done very little that could possibly harm your weight loss -- as long as you get right back to eating healthy (and you'll feel better too!)!
One more thing -- do you think you let your cravings take over because you're not eating enough? Maybe up your calories a little? Or, allow yourself the treat you craved yesterday every now and then and keep it within your calories for the day. Just some ideas :)
I went off for three days last week and got myself back on track on saturday.(my bday valentine's day and then my hubby's bday). as long as you jump back in it's easy to get back on track. My weight is already starting to go down again. And tracking it helps me. I like to see my progress on the graph. And like the above post 4 lbs in 4 weeks is right on target. congratulations to you.
I would wait a few days to weigh yourself. and remember your healthier eating habits are a lifetime goal.if you really need to eat some of your "bad" foods eat them in smaller quanities.(probably heard this over & over). or try to do extra calorie burning that day.
I used to eat a double cheeseburger and fries a few times a week. I now eat a cheeseburger and side salad with fat free dressing. If I'm really dying for the fries I give up the cheeseburger.see you can still eat what you like.
We are only human and and are going to make mistakes. Look in the mirror and see what an amazing person you are for taking an active role of your body. Our earthly bodies are a gift from God. Be good to yourself!
One day does NOT make the whole journey a failure so don't beat yourself up. 4 lbs in 4 weeks is great 'cause 1-2 lbs a week is ideal for long-term weight loss. Way to go!
