I stopped calorie counting since after Thanksgiving.  I felt bad at first but I planning to get right on it tomorrow (I already blew today).  This can only be taken one day at a time.

So jump back on!!! There is  no blowing today....start by being honest and journaling all you ate.  You might be surprised; you may not have done as poorly as you thought.  Also, by being honest, you have begun the most imortant part of calorie-counting-keeping YOURSELF accountable!  Good Luck.

Well my calorie intake is 1250 and the only thing I ate today is a sonic bacon cheese burger and fries.  Thats close to a 1000 calories!!1 All I can do is pick it up and try again. Yes I hold myself very accountable for this.

Don't be hard on yourself, cheeseburgers are delicious! Creep happens to all of us. Just brush those crumbs off & move on. Enjoying food is not something to feel guilty about.

That's why I have to exercise. Whenever I get lazy (aka "fall off the wagon," which I like to refer as "living life as someone who is not so concerned with her fitness & weight") & don't exercise I can gain 5lbs easy. I only burn 1500 sedentary & I enjoy cooking & restaurants. I live in the city! Life is pretty unfun without exercise. Gaining weight always gets me back into it.

Anyway, welcome back.

You haven't blown it too badly. Just eat up until your maintenance cals. and you should be fine. :)

It's not that easy to gain weight. Don't worry so much. :D I'm sure many of us stopped counting calories during the festive season too.

I fell off worse than you, i havent been on here since last year in feb

lol  so dont be so hard on your self take care

I ate two gingerbread cookiesFrown, but my granddaughter made them especially for me for X-Mas, so be it, and man where they good. Will just adjust the calories and keep on keeping on.

P.S. Hello dodgeman, I am from Tennessee too, Clarksville

I fell off  too! I was remodeling during the holidays and did not have a kitchen. Ate out ALOT! Gained 10 pounds in just over a month:( It will take 3 months to lose it. So frustrating.

Baby steps, baby steps.  Just climb back on now.  You enjoyed the momentary intermission (ie. burger) now time to get back to your regular scheduled programming.  I fell off too, there is not shame in it.

I fell off the wagon too!  Thank goodness I got back on (officially yesterday!) now instead of waiting any longer.  I was at 189.5, and my weight this am was 200.0 :(

Lost a lot of momentum, but I am back on track and hoping to make it stick!  Good job getting back on the wagon.

Thanx you guys!!!  Im jus now replying back because cuz Im busy with School.  But I am happy to say I am back on the wagon.
