I don't know how true that statement is. If you are well endowed I would think that a very supportive bra would be a good investment.

I've heard that too but I can't say whether or not its just urban myth.

When I was more in shape (in the army where people drive behind in pickups and scream at you, great motivation!) a lot of the larger cup sized women had to wear two sports bras in order to give them the support they needed, often a size slightly smaller than their normal size.

Weight and gravity make boobs saggy over time, no matter WHAT you do or don't do. So be prepared . . . but a good support bra will help. And NOT just with jogging, although that's a given and you would be really uncomfortable if you try and don't have adequate support (ie, you will know it if you need two bras!)

Sorry if this isn't what  you wanted to hear! Even my sister, whose very generous boobs remained perky into her 30s (she was a total couch potato but always wore good, supportive bras), finally saw the twins heading south . . .

Enell bras will protect your boobs like nothing else.  Expensive, but worth it.  They're practically bulletproof vests.

I've had to order sports bras from various internet sites because the ones in the "regular" stores just aren't supportive enough. I would try to find a sports bra that you can order in your bra size instead of S, M, L, etc. It will fit much better and should be more supportive. (Unfortunately, it may also be more expensive.) Also, don't necessarily judge a sports bra by its looks. I ordered one even though I thought it was kind of ugly and didn't look like the sports bras at those regular stores. Boy, am I glad that I got it!! It's now my fave and I can really tell the difference when I am wearing something else.

By the way, I've tried the 2 sports bra solution and don't like it at all. The underneath sports bra tends to rub at the bottom (where the band is) and then I get open sores.

This is what I have to do, I always wear 2 bras and it works MUCH better for me during workouts. If I forget sometimes and only wear 1 sportsbra, I can feel the difference, and it's very uncomfortable.

As far as jogging causing sagging...I dont know about that. But I hope not cause I would quit too!

I got a yoga sports bra from old navy a while ago and I love it! I forget if it was expensive or not but its really supportive and the material is decent and hasnt weakened at all

I have plenty up top myself, and when I walk I usually wear 2 sport bra's, a work out top and a tank top.  I found that even with a good support bra it just wasn't enough to hold me.

My sister gave me a good bra that is specifically for running, when I tried it on, it glues your chest down, reminds me of a girdle but for the top portion of you.  extremely tight though.  Guaranteed you won't be effected by the gravity with that on.  I haven't graduated to running yet so it sitting in the dresser for future use.  Think she said she ordered it online, you can search running bra's... but at the same time she paid about $70 for it, you practically have to buckle yourself into it.

www.title9.com sells sports bras in "bra sizes".  Good luck!

Biggerbras.com has some great sport bras in EVERY size practically.  I ordered a swimsuit from there as stores don't carry my size, and it is more supportive than my other bras!
