Female, 5'10", 220 lbs. Looking to lose 70 lbs! Anyone with similar stats?

Alright, scary, but my stats are almost exactly the same as yours 5'10", approx. 220 lbs, not starting my healthy lifestyle until the 16th.
The only different is that I'm looking to lose about 80
I've been there. I don't want to go back again. That's why I'm here. I don't want to gain lbs. I want to gain control.
Highest Weight: 203lbs (2004)
Lowest Weight: 123 (2004)
Current Weight: 153
Goal: 130 (2008, Hopefully)
Im also new and would love to join this group, Youre all pretty similar to me- Im 193 and want to be 135, so I have a looonnnnng way to go. bout 60 pounds. uugghhh. But the motivation would really help. So weigh ins are Monday then? Ill be checking in. We CAN do this!!!

I started CC+ almost 2 months ago . . . . and it works! So keep up all your good efforts. I haven't lost weight in years (and years, and years) but now is my time.

I have similar stats as well and would love to have some people to be accountable with. I joined CC this past Sunday, so I'm a beginner. Here are my stats:

Monday weigh ins sound great! Count me in! The weekends are the hardest for me - but the though of shorts this summer is scaring me![]()
I'm excited to have so many people in our group!! As frustrated as I am I'm not about to give up! I have a friend who lost 110lbs from January to October of last year and she said the first month she didn't lose much either but then the weight just started falling off. So......that's what I am hoping and praying happens with me! I know that we can all reach our goals![]()
BTW, does anyone here know if they have a groups thread that we could move this to so that we can find it easier?

Heh, sure thing, "Mom!" Although you're barely old enough to be mine. I'm 26, just married - and while I love my wedding pics for the capturing of the joyous celebration they are, I don't like looking pregnant in so many of them :) I want someday for my kids (who are only imaginary at the moment) to go through my wedding album, and be amazed that their mom was ever that big.
I don't know if I statted in my first couple posts, but just to be clear:

Height: 5'6"
Starting weight: 218.5
Current weight: 207.2
1st goal: 185 or less by the end of July
2nd goal: 140-150 someday :)

She went to a place called Total Health and Fitness, which is here in Utah where we live. They created a diet and exercise program for her. The diet plan was created for her by Apex Fitness Group. I'd heard of them before but didn't really know much. After looking over her info it seemed pretty basic and logical. I'm not sure what her exact starting weight was but they had her eating between 1500-1600 calories per day, in 6 small meals. She does cardio M,W,F for 45 minutes plus weights on those days. T & TH she does and hour of cardio only. So, that's what I'm going to try and do. Although I haven't developed much of a weight routine yet! I figure if she can do it I certainly can too!

I'm 5'10 and weigh 241 lbs. I hope I can join you guys. I want to lose 61 lbs. in total. I'm hoping 41 of those pounds will be gone by Labor Day weekend. Right now I have a short term goal of losing 20 lbs. by June 13th which is my sons 1st B-Day. Wish me Luck.

I must say this site is absolutely amazing - reading the success stories and knowing that there are so many other people out there in the same situation is really motivating - i'm down 3 lbs since Monday - I'm sure most of it is water weight but none the less, any weight loss is good weight loss!

I am 5"6 207lbs and want to lose 40lbs. I was 297lbs and lost 119lb well i got pregnant and gained 29lbs back so need to loose alot to fit my 5"6 body!
