Female, 5'10", 220 lbs. Looking to lose 70 lbs! Anyone with similar stats?

Hi Ladies,

Last weigh in : 227 lbs.

This week: 223 lbs.

I'm down 4 lbs. this week and 3 lbs. away from my June 13th goal of 220 lbs. When I started out on April 7th, my 1st goal was to lose 20 lbs. by June 13th and since I hit the 20 lb. goal before hand I up it to 30 lbs. Now I hope to make it 32 lbs. If I don't hit that I won't be mad at all.

My next Mini Goal Weight is 214 lbs. by July 4th. Hopefully I can reach that and move on to the next goal weight of 190 lbs. by Aug. 28th. I know this may not happen but setting these goals helps me tremendously.

Well, for the third week in a row I haven't lost anything more.  I have not been as strict about staying within the allotted calorie amount, so I know what I need to do to get back on track.  Hopefully, I'll have lost more next week. :)

I'm a day late but not a pound short! I lost another 2lbs and I am really rather happy about it. My next goal is to reach 215 by my birthday next month. On average I'm losing around 10lbs a month which given my starting weight isn't bad. I'd like to reach 199 by September 4th.

I joined back in January... lost 15 pounds... then I got a wicked cold/virus for over a month and just couldn't keep focused. I really wanted to get in shape for the summer, but I guess my goal will be a bit delayed. I am back today and will use this group of tall ladies for motivation and accountability. (My beautiful and athletic daughter is also 17 today, so I am secretly working to look more like her.) I am 5'11" and 240 pounds. My goal is 170 pounds which will put me in a size 12, although my shoulders will never fit into anything smaller than a size 16 jacket.

I lost 1 lb. But this is great because I was horrible all weekend long. Friday I took my son to Sesame Place and ate everything I wasn't supposed to like cotton candy, popcorn and burgers with fries. I loved every minute of it. LOL LOL.

I lost a lb in two days!!!  I'm going to try my hardest to stick with it this time.  I think I will not that I'll have other people doing the same thing backing me up and I'll back yall up!!!  Good luck everybody!!  Oh, how do I join this group?

Yeah!!!!!! Purification is finally over:)  And it is my pleasure to say that in just under a month I lost 17 lbs and several inches.  My starting weight on May 19th was 224 lbs.  My ending weight June 17th was 207.  Now it's onto the next phase......a customized diet and exercise program tailored specifically to the needs of my body.  If I have even half as much success with this portion of the program as the last,  I will be more than thrilled.  The dr told me I can expect around a 10 lb weight loss per month if followed closely.  That would get me to my goal weight by the end of the year!!!!!  I can hardly imagine but can't wait to see:)

Hi Y'all!

 I have been watching from the wings and thought I would just say good going to all! I seem to be stuck at 226 lbs. and now I have gone  on a fruit veggies and no fat dairy diet. This is the first week so I will not weigh in until Sunday morning. Also, I am now up to 5 miles a day on my treadmill (up from 3).

Here are my stats!

I would like to reach this goal by July 20th, we will see how it goes!

Jeeze I am so glad I lost 5 lbs.! I have been dieting now for over a year and I started at 261 lbs. I found this site at 250 lbs. and of course had a lot of life get in the way so I decided that the one thing I know I can do is walk... and it takes me an hour and forty minutes to complete five miles, but I don't care...I have chronic bronchitis so running is out of the question good motivation for me is my 25th reunion coming up in august...and I want to look good!So off I go to my trusty treadmill!

I read your bio, and I know ALL about gaining weight from not smoking... whew it just piles on out of nowhere, doesn't it?! I remember when I quit I was a size 10-12, when i started this I was a size 18!  It was like wait a minute... where did this all come from?!!

I'm at 227 but at the end of ttotm so next week should show a drop, I hope.  =)

If not I'll still be fine because my stubborn arm fat seems to be moving a bit and that is very exciting.

Ok, so I haven't posted in a while. I had hit a plateau a month ago and hadn't lost any weight. I finally lost 2.5 pounds this last week, though I'm not sure I trust that. I have been discouraged. I need to keep posting on here to keep myself motivated. I hadn't been working out since I started this new job b/c I'm too busy, but I am trying to atleast walk everynight if nothing else. I am still eating low cal and healthy which I why it was discouraging to watch the scale not move each week. Ne who guess I won't be reaching my goal date.
