19 year female needing to lose 60 pounds. Anybody need a friend?

I'm new to the site as well, actually, and am trying to lose about the same amount of weight.
I'm looking for buddies through this as well, though you mention you have your wedding in February, I would say be careful about how much and how fast you try to lose weight. One thing that helps and has helped me is knowing that it's about getting to the destination safely, and that patience is important.
Anyway, that's all the 'preachy' I'll be, but wanted to say that because I have seen my Father try time and again to lose weight fast and furious, only to fall because of trying to do too much too fast.
In this case, slow and steady does win the race. And we can prove it!

Hi Sierra,
I am new to the site myself and also work in an office-setting with the exception of off-site meetings etc. I have about 40 lbs to lose. The good news is that it is winter season and I am a BIG skier and snowboarder. The bad news is that the average "mountain burger" (ski resort food tends to be lots of carbs and fat) is about a million calories. The last thing I will want to do when taking lunch or dinner after being in the cold all day is to eat a salad. So it'll be interesting.
I have a dog that I have to walk every day. Other than that, I only do the occasional gym visit (about once or twice a week) with Yoga and a Spin class.
What do you do to exercise? What about eating at the office, do you bring your lunch or do you end up eating out?

I would love to offer some support! I can't even imagine how stressful it must be to plan a wedding and try and loose weight all at the same time.

Just wanted to let you know that I would love to help out as much as I can! I have about the same amount of weight to lose. I'm 22 by the way. I've set my goal at 1.5 to 2 lbs a week. I've learned that it's going to take alot of time and patience, but the wait is worth it ya know? Anyways, add me as a friend if you want!!
