Ok girls, we've had our first weigh in today July 30th. Out of the 40 people that have said they wanted to join this group, only 7 of you haven't weighed in. We are excited to hear about your success so please let us all know.
Of the members who have weighed in - our cumulative group weight is 7,293 which means that if we all weighed the same we'd each weight 221lbs:-)

That's what I was doing yesterday..........shoppin online at torrid..........bought lots and lots of stuff..............but 50% cmon now lol.............TORRID rocks my socks off.

Hey ladies. I'm just dropping a line to say that though I weighed in last Monday, I can't this coming Monday. I'll be away from a scale and away from the internet (and it will be good), but I will return! :)

I have created a spreadsheet, which I will happily email to anyone who wants it, that has all the stats (age, height, start weight, current weight) of everyone who has said they want to participate in this thread. There are 45 women who have said they wanted to join. I don't mind tracking this for the group and will update it each Tuesday after people have had a chance to post.
According to my calculations - from the start weight of each person I subtracted their 7/30 weight. AS A GROUP WE HAVE LOST 836.4 POUNDS!!!

so, i did it! i made my mini goal this week - that was to get to the gym 3 times. it's actually my goal for the month...to get to the gym at least 3 times a week...each week this month.

I think we report on monday. Thats great that you made your goal. I have a similar goal--i want to get to the gym atleast 4x. But, i really hate the gym : ) . Once I am there, and on a machine for atleast 5 minutes I seem to be fine. But, the process of actually getting to the gym and getting on a machine--thats what kills me for some reason. Lol maybe im just weird.
Monday is coming and I have been horrible this week (freaking vacation and Hershey Chocolate World! Ahh! They had the rainbow Twizzlers they only sell at Hershey. I need them.). I did go swimming and walk a lot, but I know the scale will not be nice to me.
I've been losing pretty steadily so far . . . I'm not worried about staying the same (it's just a week) but I'm terrified about gaining because 20 pounds was such an awesome landmark for me.
I guess just venting . . . obviously the advice is: eat right and exercise now, and put Chocolate World behind you. But I am so angry at myself right now, especially because now when I have an 1800 calorie day (instead of my target 1500) I feel like I'm still sliding, instead of having a little metabolism-boosting fluctuation.

Caz- I totally know how you feel..not about hershey world, but going over your target calories. I've been hanging with my friends around meal times and they are all skinny, and can eat what ever they want and I tend to eat more unhealthy things when I am with them. today was not a good day. Though I did go and walk my 3.5 miles so i guess it might balance out. I wish everyone good luck on monday as we see how the week treated us. have a great rest of the weekend.
