5'5" females, what is your final weight goal?

I was just wondering for all the ladies out there, who are 5'5", what is your final weight goal??

I'm not 5'5" - but close - i am 5'4". my current weight is 144lbs, after losing 25lbs in the past year. my goal is 130lbs - but i am happy with my body now. i have so much more energy.

I'm 5'6' and would like to get down to 155-145.. im not sure I have to see what happens once I get there! IM 187 now 

I want to get down to 140 even though this profile says I should get down to 135. I'm 180 right now so I have a long road ahead of me.

I'm about 5'4''-5'5'', but I don't weigh myself. I think it's more important to focus on how your clothes are fitting, and how your body actually looks then the number on the scale.

130-140 sounds like a healthy and obtainable goal though. Once you reach it you can see how you feel, and decide from there if you want to lose more. Laughing

 

My goal is 130-135. But really, just whenever I feel comfortable.

I'm aiming for between 155-140lbs, although I've decided I'm not basing my goal on weight, but on body fat percentage instead.  I'd like to hit between 20-24% body fat.  That's why my range is so big.  Honestly, I'm fairly muscular, and I really don't trust anything that tells me I need to weigh less than 140lbs, because I just don't think it's possible with my build.

I'm 5'4.5" and my goal is 130. However that is just a general guess because I don't care how much I weigh as long as I am both healthy and looking good.

I'm currently @ 188 and my goal is around 145.  I just don't see getting down to 135.  Last year I weighed 165 and I thought I look great then.  I know that you need a goal to work towards, but in reality every body is different. 

I am 5'5", and currently weigh 140lb (down from 190lbs). I would like to be about 130, with more muscle tone, and flatten the belly (I have a small 'gut' that I am trying to lose). My measurements are 32/30/37, and I would like to see a bit more of a reduction there as well.

My goal is 130!!

135 lb. is my goal. I was 150 before having a baby, was 168 right after delivery, and stayed there until joining CC last week. Am now down to 164 since following calorie and workout guidelines on here. I set an initial goal on here of 149 which would be below my pre-pregnancy weight, then from there I am going to reset the new goal to 135 adn then just maintain after that. Basically two "mini goals" of 15 lbs. each (just seems more manageable than saying I have a 30 lb. goal).

I don't think I have been 135 since getting mono my freshman year in college lol (I am 28 now).

My goal today is 140.  We will see how I look and feel before I go down to my initial goal of 135.  

I'm 150 now, and want to get to 140.  CC says I should be at 135 - we'll see if that's doable after I lose the first 10.

i am at 150 down from 170. got down to 145 about a month ago then back up. i am hoping to get to 135. that is my goal. the first half came off a lot easier that is for sure!

summer is coming. can't wait for all that fruit!!

yesterday i could see my breath outside here in seattle. sheeesh come on and sunshine already! i wanna ride!!!

Well, its hard to say because I'd like to weigh what I did in High School which was 120, but I didn't get to that weight in high school doing it the right way and as a mother I absolutely don't want to set a bad example so I'd be happy anywhere from 130 - 140 I think.  I have a bigger build and 120 was soooo hard to maintain.

Wow thanks for your posts everyone! Well here is the reason why I am asking this question. My highest weight at 5'5" was 156, when I started CC i was 150-ish. So far I have lost 15 pounds and am now at 135. Alot of people have noticed my weightloss and when I tell my family/friends that I have 5 or so more pounds to go they think that I shouldnt. but I still have fat on my body that I would like to get rid of.. In high school i was about 120 or so. So I mean I would like to get down to at least 130 maybe a few pounds less than that even and then tone up more. I just wanted to see if others had similar goals as me. Its just frustrating when you have goals and you want to look a certian way and then like 4 different people have told me not to.. all in ONE day!! I was like why not?? Just a little frustrated. Anyone have any opinions?

I think that the most important thing is that you are happy with your weight and that you are healthy. It completely depends on body shape and build, not just your height. I am 5'4" and i am 137 at the moment, my goal is 130.

Going strictly off a BMI or an 'ideal weight' is probably unwise because they don't take things like body shape, build or even muscle content into consideration. My BMI tells me I would be still in the 'Healthy range' if I went down to 99.4 pounds. If i did this I would be way way too skinny and I would look unhealthy. I know this just by looking at myself.

I think it just depends on everyones individual shape. As far as i'm concerned, the main thing is to feel and look and be healthy.

Im 5'5 and weight 137 right now........my goal is between 105 and 115.  I will see how I look at 115 and then decide if I want to lose more weight after that.

I'm 5'5.5 and my goal weight is 120.  I'm 133-134 right now.  

I'm 5'5 1/2" and it says I should be 139.  132 is what I'm most comfortable with but I've been over 150 for over 10 years. 

Started at 184, currently 178.
