I am thrilled I ate 43 g of fiber today!! I went vegetarian today and was amazed at how much fiber I ate!! I had Go lean cereal, blueberries, banana, cantaloupe, spinach, beans, bell peppers, corn on the cob, Portabello garden burger, rye bread, tomotoes, half avocado, walnuts.

Congrats. I have trouble with my fiber intake. I average around 21g of fiber a day. I try to get more, but am not a big bread or cereal eater. I have thought about fiber supplements. I usually get most of my fiber from veggies, fruit and nuts.
They recommend 35 g a day but you are doing good. The garden burger had 5 g ea of fiber and I had two. You know I saw your name the other day on the board...I have a cousin named Kelly Green.

Congratulations but I have to tell you this.
I have done the same thing for a month. 40-50 g fiber a day. Now, I have a stomach problem and need to take medicine.
Everything in moderation is good. Don't get too much fiber every day.

Safina was it related to the fiber intake? I am making sure I drink plenty of water to help it on it's journey out of the body! I hope you will be ok!
well yes, it was related to the fiber intake. and actually I am seeking professional help.
I used to eat all sorts of fruit, broocoli , berries, and my fiber intake was really high. Sometimes, 50 grams a day. you won't feel any thing in the beginning but after a month or two, I don't know.
I am just trying to keep it in moderation. Avoiding broocoli was a solution for me.

The recommended daily dose of fibre is 25g
Eat a cup of fiber one for breakfast. In that alone you have 28gs. :) and it's only 120 cals. That's how I roll.
