hi, so i really really like fiber one cereal, actually the store brand of the original version but same thing, and i eat it daily w/ trail mix and milk. my question is, its so good, can you have too much? im asking bc of the high fiber count.

hmm, 1/2 cup has 13 grams of fiber, i eat 1 cup at a time so thats 26 grams, 2 cups would be 52 plus whatever else i eat during the day, its so good!!?? lol
LOL. The recommended allowance of fiber is 30g. Do you get an upset stomach often, or bad bloating? Honestly, it comes down to how you feel in yourself and drinking enough fluids to help the digestion of the fibre. xD

be careful, i had read a story once about this same topic and a woman developed a really bad intestinal problem because of all the fiber... so yes too much of a good thing can be bad
she was only eating about 1 or 2 cups a day.. so yea that equals 30-60g of fiber in one sitting!
no!!! lol...it is so good! maybe ill sometimes do 1.5 cups then, lol.
that's really probably not a good idea... too much fibre can cause serious damage to your insides if eaten in larger amounts
kinda like those who abuse laxatives or other substances... somethings are only helpful if eaten as directed
i suggest you do some research before eating that much fibre at once
i havent had that much yet, but i meant like 1 cup in the morning, then maybe 1/2 cup later for a snack. i dunno, everything in moderation but well see.
Bah. I regulary eat 60+ grams of fiber every day, and have eaten 1.5-2 cups of fiber one daily with no ill effects. Your body gets used to fiber and you won't have the bloating, etc. anymore (it doesn't sound like you are having problems like that anyway). Just make sure you drink enough water, and it is all good.
I LOVE fiber one, and regularly eat about 1-1.5 cups a day. I have read that you would have to eat a TON of fiber to get ill or anything. I think you would have to eat 70+ grams a day. I would say that fiber one is of few healthy, no sugar, low cal cereals. Definitely don't stop eating it!
Just make sure you drink plenty of water or liquids with high fiber food (FiberOne, Lentils, Leafy Greens) and you should be ok.

Be careful, this has Aspartame in it it will make you a bit bloated depending on your reactions to Aspartame or artificial sugars.
My hubby and I eat Fiber One Cereal all the time. Usually, around 1 cup at a time. We love it. We also drink a LOT of water everyday.
ha, so funny that you can talk so much about a twiggy looking cereal. i think i drink a good amount of water. its a great snack and i love the way i make it. its actually the store version or all bran extra fiber, but ppl tend to know fiber one more.

Yes, sometimes. Not in one sitting, though. A few times I have made them rice krispie treat style and had a few servings worth that way!
I love fiber one but I never eat more than half a cup a sitting, or one cup a day. If you want to have more cereal, mix your fiber one with another cereal (like cornflakes or ricebubbles) that has a texture you like but very little fiber of its own. It also has the advantage of making it cheaper - fiber one is EXPENSIVE so the further you can stretch it, the better...
good idea to mix maybe the third serving, at another time during the day, w some airy cereal. and i dont buy the fiber one brand KAJKIT, i get either the store brand or all bran extra-even more fiber, ha!
hey everyone i eat fiberone caramel delight is that good or bad i ask because it taste to good to be true i would love to have to bowls a day but im scared.
