fiber one cereal

hi, so i really really like fiber one cereal, actually the store brand of the original version but same thing, and i eat it daily w/ trail mix and milk.  my question is, its so good, can you have too much?  im asking bc of the high fiber count.

not everyone goes to every forum.  you dont have to read and respond to everything you see.

I like the Fiber One cereal because it is so good and healthy for you, especially the original kind but it made me really bloated and I felt so weird when I was exercising. Probably because the Aspartame flavoring but it is still good and wonderful. :] You can probably have too much fiber but I don't think it would damage much, just make you run to the bathroom one too many times.

I was addicted to Fiber One for a while. I constantly craved it and it did make me bloat. I gave it up (which was very hard) because of the aspartame and now sprinkel 2 tbsp. of wheat germ whererver i would have used the fiber one. But yes, too much Fiber One cereal can be a bad thing. 
I am definitely a Fiber One addict. I go through a box every week....
I lost 4 lbs due to this and I am never hungry..love it!!
However, you need to drink a LOT of water else your bathroom trips will be very very painful(seriously!)

haha-so how much water?  i love it too and have it daily as a mid morning snack, all mixed w the toppings i mentioned!

If I dont drink enough water and get enough activity I get really bloated from all of the fiber, but if I know I am going to be active and hydrate I have no problems and sometimes I can polish off 3 cups (84 grams just from my cereal)

I do want to share that since I started my super high fiber diet (March 06) my cholesterol went from 245 to 180 (with no Rx use)

wow stardust, thats great!  congrats!  and good to know, i think i drink enough water..lol   its so yum!  but whats enough activity?

Nothing too intense really needed, but I have a desk job, so if i dont get at least 60 minutes of walking, take the stairs and get up periodically from my desk and walk around.  In general if I sit too much at work I get super bloated.

ok, yea, i hear that, i get so tired just staring at the comp at the desk, deff a good idea to walk around.  oh, and try mixing stuff into the cereal, i really do love it, lol

Cool, what kind of stuff do you mix in? Im always up for new combos!

i thought i had originally posted, but milk of course, then a serving of trail mix, a packet of sugar, and cinnamon.  amzing, its my midmorning snack almost daily.  how do you eat it?
