Hey there, i find this site at some point a few weeks back and have been interested in trying it but hesitant as well.  Has anyone tried this and can you vouch for the taste?  Also, does anyone know how legit this really is?

de-freaking-licious! tastes exactly the same as regular pasta, with fewer cals and lots of fiber! Well worth the investment! Each box is about 4 servings, and the servings are big! Loves me my pasta!

My god! Its 17 times the price of regular pasta! Seriously thats a rediculous price for pasta.

$22 for 1.3kg when 1kg should be at most about $1.5

I normally get pasta for 1-2 dollars for 8oz, this seems to be 4-5 dollars for that amount plus shipping if you order a mixed box, less if you get a bigger one which comes with a discount.  So for me its only five times more expensive at the worst.

I guess pasta is just expensive over there :O in the UK i buy organic wholewheat pasta 17oz (standard size here) for $1.3, so $20 for under three times that amount is just shocking to me.

Its a shame cos i was ready to get a few months supply shipped over til i saw the prices lol.

Apparently i cant read because the pasta i buy is 16oz, not 8, so that would make this about ten times as much then.  Now i have to contemplate if its worthy.  Weighing my love of pasta versus my love of money is tough...

Do you happen to know anyone who lives in York or McMurray?  You can buy it in store in both those cities.

You could also buy the 12pack for $36.  It saves a little money, makes it $6 per bag.

I think its pittsburg or mcmurray, or thats what it said when i checked it out.  Is there a store in york or something that isn't listed?  If so that would be wonderful because I live right near there.  Pittsburg and mcmurray are both a few hours drive though.

I agree- its very very good, tastes just like real pasta.  I've also done the tofu shirataki noodles, and while they work if I need a filling, low cal meal, they just don't REALLY feel like pasta to me!

And Yah, it is realllly expensive (FG) but IMO worth it, if you don't eat pasta tooo much!

the calories are wrong.

they are assuming fiber has no calories, but it does (2 cals/gram).

so don't think they are really low cal.  they aren't.  what a lot of products do is they add a lot of insoluble fiber to make the calories look like less than they really are.  by law, they are allowed to not count fiber towards calories, even though nutritionally they DO have them.

any processed 'low carb' product will do this.  its a waste of $$ and just marketing.  but it works, obviously...they are getting you to buy it.

The larger pasta companies are coming out with healthier pasta alternatives if you want to go for something less pricy.  Ronzone SmartTaste is soooo good and not that much more expensive than regular pasta.
