I sliced up and microwaved a peach, added some sugar, crushed a granola bar on it and mixed it up with a spoon and it tasted just like pie filling!  Very delicious and filling little dessert to hold me over until lunch.

Anyone else have easy, healthy desserts/snacks?  I'd be interested in hearing them. ^_^

Melt a little pb and put on banana then roll in gram crackers and freeze. Baked apples or cinn apples. Quick oatmeal cookies. Take a packet of instand oatmeal flavor kind is ok too a little splenda and tsp baking powder or soda I can't remember now sorry. Anyhow make into balls and bake on 350 for 15 minutes.

personally i just love the fiber one bars, the new caramel flavor is amazing, and the peanutbutters good too. the caramel one tastes like im eating a candy bar, but has 9 g of fiber:) i love them
Blue Bunny has some 35 calorie fudge bars - I love them not only for their low calorie count but because it takes me awhile to eat them (I have sensitive teeth).

pudding and banana parfaits mmmmmmmmm. You can shave quite a few calories as you make it. Depending on your comfort zone of sweeteners. I like reg. sugar so, I use fat free milk and skip a whip cream topping. It's pretty enough you could serve it to company. The original recipe I had seen for it was on this link-

http://kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/recipedetail .htm?recipe_id=51211?smid=1002089

but, I've seen some versions of this recipe that also have layers of vanilla wafer crumbs if you want too make it a bit more crunchy. You could totally swap out the ingredients and go with yogurt and other fresh fruits and use grape nuts for crunch or nuts? yum! I'm my own worst enemy! lol Wink

Happy snacking! Smile

Well, these are a little high cal and have some sugar but if you're maintaining/gaining or need cals quick these are great! They're an invention of my mom's friend's dad when she was about 15. Its called Heeker Toast, not sure why. You toast some bread, put peanut butter on it, and then put brown sugar on the pb. It sounds weird but tastes AMAZING. :) I also like to microwave an apple (sliced up) and put some cinnimon w/ splenda on it. It tastes like apple pie filling. AND I like Dannon Light n' fit yogurt with cool whip Light on it. If you use the lemon kind it tastes kinda like Lemon Merangue pie...goodness I could go on forever with the ideas I have.

I like to put a little on before, heat it up about 10 seconds then add the rest of the sugar/cinnamon etc. and mix it then microwave it again for about 20 seconds.  Sometimes longer because I like it when its really hot and bubbly almost!  ^^

I put the apple in a bowl and then stick it in the microwave until it's squishy. (I slice up the apple first.) Then I put the cinnimon and splenda on. Hope this helps!

I like to layer sliced banana with vanilla yogurt (nonfat or lowfat) and crushed graham crackers. I love the flavour combination of the banana parfait.
Thanks guys, hopefully I can get some apples in to try it v soon!
wow. you guys are my all my heroes. these resipes are absolutely AMAZING!

you rock :)
I agree that the Fiber One bars are ExCELLENT, specifically the carmel flavor.  They are only 140 calories and 9 grams of fiber. You can buy them at Sam's club with 20 in a box for under $7.
Fruit.  I love it.  Tangerines, slices of apples (once with a teaspoon of peanut butter) cantaloupe cubes, cherries.  Sometimes I'll nibble on a bowl of cereal after dinner.
Another great mix I just did. A 90-cal fudgebar melted in the microwave for a few seconds on some strawberries, yum!
For a desert sometimes i like making instant apple cinnamon oatmeal and pour that over some vanilla ice cream. Its sorta like a really really fast apple crisp. It is sooo good!
I mix together canned pumpkin, splenda, cinnamon, and cloves and microwave it 'till warm.  Then I sprinkle in some crunchy cereal and and a dab of fat-free cool whip.  Tastes just like pumpkin pie!

weight watchers " ice cream" bars are great

Take two chocolate graham crackers and put fat free cool whip in between and freeze.  They tast like ice cream bars

might be a little high in calories, but cheap and yummy

Banana soy shake: Freeze a banana, then cut it up and throw it in the blender with a cup of light vanilla soymilk and some ice cubes. Some people might want some splenda or low-calorie chocolate syrup, too.
