I finally bought Veganomicon!
What recipes from there do you think I should try out first? I'm definitely a novice in the kitchen, and I'm only cooking for one, so the easier (while still being low-cal) the better.

I agree,,it was the first recipe I tried from VCON, too.
Mmm sounds yum! I have been so bad about eating beans because of the calorie content, I need to get over that already.
The book hasn't arrived yet but I look forward to cracking it open and getting started. I've been relying on processed foods wayyy too much.
It came yesterday!! Everything looked so amazing but I worry about the calorie count of a lot of the recipes (so much oil in a lot of them!) and I'm cooking for one, so it's going to be hard to get the motivation to do some of this stuff, but I gotta just deal with it. :) I can't wait to make the chickpea cutlets and some seitan!
