finally reached 200!!
It's gonna feel so weird getting to 199, too. But 200 - wow, it's been a long time since I've been there.
It is possible, folks! If I can do it, by aiming for 1500 cals a day (no exercise) and having maintenance days and splurge days throughout, you can do it too!!
Much love to CC for supporting me throughout this endeavor. I don't know if I could have come this far without the site itself and all the great people on it who have provided inspiration, support and camaraderie!!
That has got to feel great! Just imagine when 199 shows up on the scale, you can stop saying "2 hundred some-odd lbs"!
Yay for losing 40 pounds! Great job <3
And thank you for all your wise and inspiring posts.
You beat me by twice as much! Way to go!
trustwomen, this is great to hear, I'm 233 and just started again for the thousand time have problems with exercise especially since I have started having a lot of pain in one foot for the last 4 months guess I need to give up and go to the doc. anyway congratulations this is a great accomplishment and alot of people really do not understand what it is to be overweight out there I deal with it on a daily basis in a world of thin people. anyway somedays I really believe I will never hit 200 or even 199.5.
Keep it up your an inspiration!!!!!!
Habits are hard to change - certainly they were for me. And I do miss the reckless overeating that used to characterize my daily life - I'm still a hedonist at heart. But I don't do 40 lbs' worth of missing it, if you know what I mean.
Let's all keep our eyes on the prize - not weight, but the process! The process is what we have control over, not the scale. If we reach our "process" goals, the weight will have no choice but to fall off in time - the laws of thermodynamics don't lie! What we are changing is not our weight, but our behaviour - tricky stuff, really - and those changes will "happen" to affect our weight.
We can do it - go team CC!!
That is G R E A T ....wishing you all the best for your next goal>:)
cata~
I'm also just a few pounds away from a BMI of 29.9. Oh, how I long to be "overweight" as opposed to the VERY unpleasant other 'o' word!!
Outstanding! Breaking 200 is one of the biggest and best milestones to achieve. It's been several years since I broke through but to this day I remember the feeling of total victory and how much confidence it gave me to reach my goal.
Bravo!
I'm still 92 pounds away from hitting 200lbs but I know I can do it too.
