Oh, hey. I saw the most interesting thing.

I was at the gym yesterday morning and there was something on *ESPN* about Jena 6.

Now, in general, I find Jena 6 to be very upsetting, but.. was shocked to see 1) it was on ESPN and 2) that the general consensus of the opinions they were quoting was "The Blacks should be ashamed of themselves. Last I checked.. it still wasn't cool to get in fights at school." And worse.. i agree with that.

Not that rascism in Jena isn't real. It clearly it. Not that the White boys were ever right.

But.. school fighting is never ever ever cool. Under any circumstances.

As far as that whole racial thng goes. i dont care wh started it. Both sides were very very wrong. and both sides should be punished severely for it. There is no right doing in that whole situation.

The whole "White Tree" thing is really scary. What happened to Desegregation? I mean *I* knew a sort of social resegregation was occurring, even in the white-bread northern states, but... Wow. Just.. wow.

ugh no bannanas left in the house. Guess I gotta get my potassium from the vitamin water. whish I could have the actual fruit though But I am sick of apples. Vermon the apple season and the house is choke full of applesauce and canned apple goods. I'm not even thinking about the cobbler and pie. i am preteding they dont exist
