If you can find another health-conscious person who is more or less built like you and is around your age, that is great. You can share tips with that person to get to know how to lose weight with your body type (since his/her body type might be the same). You can also try different things and give each other some feedback. I think this should help with all of us losing weight, especially teenagers because I think the simple rules of calorie-counting don't work with teens as their minimum differs from the adult 1200 (female) and 1500 (male).

skinnybecca, we're close, except you're 8 years older than me and 3 pounds lighter. I'm a runner, too, though! :)

I'm F, 5'7", 168 lb, trying to get down to around 150. I've been slowly gaining weight since I began working a desk job about a year ago. I'm medium-to-large frame (according to this site I'm medium, but you should see the size of my anklebones!). Hourglass shape---my weight piles more on my hips than my tummy.

Ok, here's my stats first.
F,34, 180-183 depending on the time and day I get on the scale, 5'5
Started at 214 the end of the year, was at 204 Feb 1 of this year, and the scale said 180 this morning. My goal is 135-140ish.
I started reading the first 9 pages and as of their posts back in April, I'm realy close to tamji, racheleastman_72, timsmom and smwhipple. I stopped there because I don't know what kind of weight changes people have made since then. So then I decided that I'm going to start at the most recent and work my way back.
I however can't do that until later tonight when I get back from taking my son to baseball practice.
If you are close and want to send me a message and/or add me as a friend feel free! I'll post again when I've had a chance to read through some more posts when I get home.
Edited to add: Ok, so there are several that are in the ball park )(lots of cousins out there) but I don't think I have an actual twin. In addition to those listed above, Joyfulake, knitcorner and stuckonflab are all right there close too. Would love to know what some of you are down to now! Maybe we can get a motivation group going!
