Hi everyone!

I am looking for a new way to workout while i'm at home with my kids. Has anyone tried the The Firm TransFIRMation? Thanks in advance!

I have the TransFIRMation series and really like it.  I have other Firm videos as well, including all the ones for the fanny lifter, the one with that stick thingy (can't remember what it's called!) but my favorite is the TransFIRMation series.  It's less hard on my knees and the cardio workouts are much more fun in my opinion.  You still get the great strength workouts too.  I would definitely recommend them.

I have it, and use it.  At first I was amazed at how hard the workouts were.  I couldn't get through them without breaks.  Now 6 months later, and several increases to the weights, and I'm starting to outgrow them.  However, I would definitely recommend them as a beginner program.

Rather than buy the system from their site, check out buying individual videos on Amazon.  It will be much cheaper and faster due to the shipping and handling.

Also, I wish I had just bought the just videos and my own weights.  I'm about to outgrow the FIRM weights (original set, plus deluxe add on of 4 1.5 weights).  It is very costly/hard to find the add ons (can't really find then anywhere but on the FIRM site).  So, to increase my weights, I either need to start over with a new set, or pay for the FIRM ones ($20 plus $10 S/H).

I agree with kaffwynn, buy the individual videos from either ebay or amazon and save yourself a bunch of money.  With the weights mine came with I can make one set of 5 lbs and one set of 3 lbs which you can outgrow quickly.  Use your own dumbells of the weight you prefer and get the videos cheaper.  They are fun though.

i bought some of the firm videos and they were actually very challenging considering im an avid taebo user and do other cardio as well. I would def give them a try. although i would buy one video before buying the sets of dvds they like to sell on the internet.  just to see if you like it
