Vegetarian...Vegan...

In your family, in your group of friends, in your city?

It seems like I am. Seriously, I just today finally met another vegetarian.

How supportive are the people around you of your lifestyle? When I finally told my friends a couple weeks ago that I've been vegetarian for 3-4 months, they were visibly appalled, and one of them even went so far as to say "you are a disgusting person."

This post is half rant/ half I'd-like-to-know-your-story.

First veggie in my family, but i do have a vegan friend who is big help. Family dinners can be tricky. I have to say they have all been very supportive, but I still feel like an outsider at times. I was pretty hard to see the turkey carcass on Thanksgiving but my Tofurkey was so Yummy!
