My first day!

Okay, I'm a newbie here, so bear with me.  I'm having dinner in a little while (pork chops red potatos, etc. very healthy). Today I have eaten snacks, breakfast and lunch, and have gotten up to 1000 calories. I managed to go hiking for 2.5 hours today, and have already burned more calories than I've consumed. I'm in a very jazzed, upbeat, accomplished mood. So I'm throwing my good vibes out to everyone else. This forum is definately the place where you need to have positive thought.
