My first goal met :)
Today it happened, about 1pm as I stepped on the scale (wasnt even supposed to weigh myself today). Anyway, today it read 250. Actualy for the first time I also noticed that I no longer wanted to celebrate by eating.
I started july 14 this year at 290+ as the scale didnt show a higher number then that (oh boy) not even after I tried weighing myself without heavy jeans etc did it go below. I joined ediets and payed 16 bucks a month. Quickly as I tried to find out the amount in grapes did I find CalorieCount and noticed that I hardly ever went to my paysite.. now today, October 16th I weigh 250.
I am 5.3 and trying to get down to 124 pounds. I also took before and after pictures but I am sceptical about daring to show em publicly. But I recommend for everyone to take them because it really shows a diffrence.
Even if you are in the middle of weightloss.. take a picture now, dont think its too late.. take it! its the only way i can see ive lost weight
Glad to hear you met your first goal! That's a lot of weight in a short period of time. I really enjoy this site, it's helping me a lot. Although I don't post many notes I get motivated by reading other people's struggles and achievements.

jessinca: Yea autumn is really cold and dark here in WA so I did follow your suggestion and I did take a long bath with alot of bubbles and really suggest that you try to remember to do it aswell. :D
deedus: thanks, you seem to be doing what ive been doing! Everytime I feel like giving up I just go and read around on the motivation forums and here at weightloss forum and it cheers me up :)

I too tried ediets and didn't use it more than a week. I found CC the same way and am hooked. The forums really help keep me motivated and less lonely in the trials of counting calories. And, a post like this one is so motivating. Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow hi all and thanks a lot, cant even imagine how I was feeling unmotivated today :D Maybe I wont touch that ice cream my husband bought and brought home yesterday! What a great community this is. Isnt it funny, in a workplace if you put alot of/mostly women together its really bad but works sooo good on a calorie count homepage?
