First hurdle :)
I've been somewhat of a yo-yo dieter for years now, starting a new diet virtually every week and never getting anywhere. I nearly always give in to temptation at the first sniff of food. So last night, I was at a friend's house and they were having a couple of [alcoholic] drinks and ordering chinese, while I managed to stick to water the whole night. It was pretty terrible at the time really, I desperately wanted to eat something but I feel great now and really proud of myself. I know it's no biggie, but it's the first time I've been able to resist ruining my diet. Hopefully I can keep it up. ![]()
Hi, Im jami. You remind me of this comedian. Anyway, congrats on your victory. Have to start somewhere. Chinese is tricky. It sounds healthy with all those veggies but it really is hard to make a good choice. What did you have.

They do have 'diet' menu options at a lot of chinese places now. I tend to not get them cuz I....well, I just don't like it so there's no point haha. But if you DO get something chinese just remember to drink TONS of water cuz it has a lot of sodium, and make sure it fits in your cal limit for the day! LOL Or next time bring your own snacks so that you are eating when others are! Ya never know, other people might jump on board with you!
I had that issue w beer and pizza on Sunday....I skipped the beer, got some white wine, and limited myself to 1 slice of pizza. Compromise! LOL
