My first 5k in 8 years!

Tomorrow morning I'm running my first 5k in over 8 years!  I can't believe it's been so long!  Just thought I'd share.  I'm super psyched!  I even bought myself a cool pair of sunglasses for the occasion.  :-)

oh cool!  Me too well sort of!  I'm going to be running about 4 mile son my tredmill tomorrow morning!  Let me know your time when you finish, like to see where a good pace would be..I'm shooting for 30 mins, but we'll see tomorrow eh?  Good luck!

Wow!  30 minutes?  You're much faster than me!  The 5K took my 36 minutes today.  Not bad for me :)  I'm perfectly fine with a 12 minute mile for now.  Hope your run went well!!

oh ha!  I mis-posted that time!  Ha!  No I ran a 2.5 mile in 20 minutes last week, and my 5k time is 35 minutes...maybe a little less because i walked a tiny bit.  I did  a light 2 mile run this morning though after getting on the elliptical and just average a 12 minute mile.  Sometimes i fluctuate between 5.5mph- and 6mp, or even 6.5 if i'm finishing. Tomorrow morning i'm going for a good 2 mile run in my fastest time to start the week off.
