I've been on CC now for about 6 days. In that time I have lost 11lbs and I couldn't be happier or feel better about myself. I have gained a sense of control I haven't ever had before and it feels amazing.
I won't bore you all with my details, you can read that in my journal ;) But I am 11 lbs down, about 250 more to go...and that's for a goal weight of 250! That might change, but for now, that sounds good and comfy.
I'm happy to be here...and this is my first post!!! YAY!
These 11 lbs have come off without much effort. I just started keeping track of my calories and stayed near the recommended daily allowance and poof, the weight is falling off. I know it won't continue, but it feels great right now. I just have to cheer for myself, lol.
Thanks for listening to me brag:)
Thats awesome! Keep up the good work! Just remember ya "that" might taste good but it wont even compare to how good it will feel when you step on the scale and see it going down! Its a great feeling huh?
Thanks everyone!!
I was able to say no to MickeyD's tonight and yes to baked potatoes and green beans all because of how good I am feeling. I coulda stayed within my calories, but it just didn't seem like the sensible choice, even though hubby really wanted it. This feels fantastic, I can only imagine how good I am going to feel after more weight comes off. :)
Congrats! Way to go! Keep up the spirit!
God's favor for you! :-)
Very good job! Just thought I would give you a quick motivation - I started on January 2nd at 442.2 and am now 398.6....you will find that you will lose more than 2 pounds a week sometimes since we have so much more to lose and it does feel great! I can't believe in just the 10 weeks that I have been watching it how much better I feel! You are doing great and write me anytime you want encouragement or just to say hi! I added you as a buddy. Hope you will do the same!
Where can I see 1/8th or 1/6th of a pie or angel food cake?
This is the best way to picture a portion of pie or cake: Draw a circle to represent the circumference of the cake or pie (9" pie? 10" cake?... Read more
