Hi All!

For the first time EVER I've lost 8 pounds! 153lbs to 145lbs. 

It's so slow it's excruciating, and I can't see a difference but my jeans definitely fit differently!

To maintain my weight I only get to eat 1600 calories so I've been eating like 1200-1225 for 7 weeks and walking  a few miles a day (yeah, i realize that's not intense working out). That's how long it's taken me to lose this weight (which is why I'm confident it's not water weight).

Anyway, no one knows I'm dieting so I just wanted to share my small success with some people who would understand!

Awesome! Keep it up and remember to treat yourself every once in a while!

I made a similar goal this past summer, and am still working on it. I definitely couldn't see much difference either, but that's normal. I rely on my boyfriend's eyes, mostly, since we live far away from each other right now so he only sees me every month or two.

Congratulations! It may be slow but that's the best way to do it and keep it off!

I'm quite jealous (:

Congrats! Must feel great!!! You may not see it but others around you probably do and the most important thing is that you feel good!

it feels good but at the same time makes the whole journey a bit daunting. i just have to take it a day at a time cause otherwise i get so depressed! i also need to just remind myself not to be too hard on myself!
