My first day at a new begining. HELP

I have know that i have gained lots of weight especially when you realize your clothes are so uncomfortable that I am evening wearing some of my old maternity clothes. I am way out of shape and the only type/s of diets i tried were WW and it was a success but then i let all the weight loss get my head and ate it all back up, i also tried many over the counter dietary supplements and that just stuck me on the toliet for sure! this is a new approach for me to interact with other people with the same goals of losing weight. When i was in WW i never took adavantage of the meetings and just kind of did my own reading and just went  to weigh in. So, maybe i might try it again this time but the whole package. What seems to work for you? and diets that are worthless?

I started with WW before doing CC.  So far I have lost 70 lbs.  What is making it successful for me, is writing down everything that goes into my mouth.  I keep a tablet and pencil on the kitchen counter.  I also focus on portion control.  That was one thing WW really made me aware of, what's a portion.  If you did it before, I'm sure you can do it again.  I would avoid any "diet" aids and focus on healthier food and getting active.  As I'm sure others on here will tell you, it's a lifestyle change, not a diet!  Hope it goes well for you!

ajjciir is right.  It is a lifestyle change.  I have lost 20 lbs so far, by just keeping track of how many calories I eat.  I have done my own version of calorie count (writing it all down on paper) in the past.  (which worked) I was so excited about this web site that I got my husband hooked also.  He has lost 23 or so lbs!  Yeah!
