First Time Working Out

Quote  |  Reply

The most I've ever worked out outside of school is one or two days here and there but I've never been consistant. And it was more of a 30 minute jog than a work out.

I have no idea where to start. What would be a good work out plan for me?

I'm looking to tone and lose maybe 5 pounds or so. But mainly just tone, and be fit. Which I am so not.

Workout plan suggustions?

You ought to check out Body For Life.  It's an incredible workout program.  There are quick and amazing results.  There is an eating plan that goes with it, but you will see results even without the program.  The book is sometimes available at the Library (Body for Life).  Good Luck.

i recommend joining a (friendly) team sport, as they will help you along and motivate you.  from that you can see your strengths and weaknesses, and start targeting specific areas on your own.  you'll also get to meet new like-minded people who want to get fit!
