Good morning all,

I'm about to leave for a week-long business trip starting tomorrow, which will mean my at-work gym will be left far behind :(  Problem is, the gym has the ActivTracs (sp?) system which saves me the headache everyday of having to construct a workout, all I have to do is pick a cardio machine.  Anyone know a website that can give me a weeks worth of workouts that can be done while on the road with the bare minimum of hotel exercise equipment or nothing at all?  Just started gaining some weight back due to muscle mass, and I don't want to loss the progress.  Thanks all.

Does the hotel you are staying at have a fitness center or a pool?
Multiple hotels, some do, some don't, and I'm staying with family for a couple of nights.  Basically, erratic access to fitness equipment at best.
I would just suggest using fitness centers whenever possbile, maybe doing crunches, pushups, ect in the hotel rooms?

If you are traveling to safe areas, you could always go for walks?
You can buy fitness bands at Wal-Mart for under $20.  These can be used to do a variety of exercises right in your hotel room. You'd actually be surprised at how versatile they are...and they're easy to pack and store.

If your an infrequent business traveler, I would suggest using the week as a recovery.  Your body could use a couple days off every 6-8 weeks if your on a good training routine.

Its not the exercise you need to worry about when travelling, its all about your diet.
Buy the Danskin resistance tube set for 19 bucks at Wal-Mart. Has an exercise manual included. Pick up a jump rope for cardio. What I'm doing while visiting friends and family for a couple weeks in October.
Just set aside a little time to go for a hike or jog every day of your trip, and that should help ^_^ .

Depending on the hotel chain-some have fitness programs on the television. They are worth a try. Don't forget walking--hotels have long halls and steps.

Good luck and have fun!
