Fitness Video Question

Quote  |  Reply
This question has more than likely been asked before, but I am gonna ask it again...I am a beginner with the workout routines. I am wondering what is a really great fitness video for beginners to use when I can't make it to the gym? I have an exercise ball so a video that may incorporate that would be good. All input is greatly appreciated!Laughing

I'd go with  Total Body for Beginners - while not a video, it's a good starter routine.

For the exercises using weights, you can start off with soup cans, soda bottles filled with water, A-C and D-F of the encyclopedia or other reasonably heavy implement you have around the house.
There are so many videos out there I think it would be hard to pick one for someone else.  I did tae bo for years and love it, but you may not.  Collagevideo.com has a great assortment of videos, you are sure to find something there you would enjoy.
i like the 20-minute workout-Turbo Jam.
Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds.  Its the best!
I just started doing Hip Hop abs by Shaun T I really enjoy what I have done so far.
Thanks for all the input!! Laughing

If you dont want to spend cash on videos that you may only use 1 time......take a look at netflix they have a bunch of different ones to work out to on your pc................whilst you can have some sent to your home also

good luck to you

Dolphina's belly dancing for beginners was a fun way to ease into regular exercise.  It is fun and you are so focused on the moves you almost don't realize the work.  I've found that Overstock.com has a huge selection and tends to be much less expensive than stores for fitness videos.
