flavored carbonated water
I find these delicious and there are no calories, sodium or sugars. do you know any down sides to these? thanks!
If you drink too much you can have scary bloating. I drank a whole bottle once and gained 5 pounds but in moderation They're fine
I don't know any down sides......That is all I drink! Well, other than coffee and just started drinking the special k protein water during my workouts. Been drinking them for years. Even take them out to eat with me! Have heard people say the aspertain (sp?) gives them headaches.??? Drink on!
is it the carbonation that makes you bloat? when you gained weight it was water weight right? :-/
thanks :) yah i was hoping there wasn't a downside to their sweetener, aspartame.
Yes it was water weight. luckily it went down after a few days but then you might not have to worry. I'm just really prone to retaining water.
I drink them daily and so do my family. It cuts down on juices that we drink and it's one of the only ways I've found to keep the teenagers hydrated. =)
Increased chance of esophageal cancer and heart disease, as with all carbonated beverages.
I love love love carbonated water, especially the flavored types... the only thing that happens to me is I get bloated & burp... I plan & drink these things when I know I will NOT be doing anything that day or night! haha!
I want to know the source of this information. I refuse to believe it until I see the scientific data behind it. There are so many scare tactics behind food and it seems to change on a daily basis. My doctor is happy that I am finally drinking water on a regular basis. I would hope he would tell me if there was a increased chance of disease behind it.

You don't have to. Doctors also told people smoking was no problem years ago, as well. *Shrugs* It all depends on how concerned you are for your health and what risks you're willing to take.
