flavored water?!
Are they the kind with no artificial colors and no sodium? If so, I drink them on occasion and in moderation since they do not create "sweet cravings" for me and assist me in drinking an adequate amount of water each day. I also drink decaffeinated herb teas.
By the way, some are sweetened with aspartame, some are sweetened with saccharine, some are sweetened with sucralose. Opinions out there are mixed about the use of artificial sweeteners in a healthy diet, so you need to decide what is best for you.
Here's a great Mayo Clinic article on artificial sweeteners ... http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/diabetes-die t/NU00592

read this page and maybe think again about aspartame, okay?

although the last one is a bit more propaganda-y than the others....
Now, all of this MIGHT not be true...It might all be a bunch of phooey.
But really, I'm not going to gamble with my life over an artificial sweetener with that much bad about it.
Maybe ingesting aspartame now and then isn't bad...But I wouldn't drink it all the time. Stick to water, maybe flavor it with lemon juice?
I live by aspartame haha, its really the only way i get something sweet in my mouth, and I'm addicted to diet coke and flavored water (crystal lights water bottle drop ins). The aspartame isn't going to hurt your weight loss plans just make sure theres no real sugars, and no sodium, sodium is huge, because the more sodium you intake the more water weight your body's going to hold onto.
**Personally i have never gained even an ounce from drinking beverages with aspartame, such as diet coke, and crystal light.** I am not also saying that its good for you either though.
aspartame DOES hurt your weight loss plans.. :| it turns to fermaldahyde in your body and surrounds your fat cells, making it impossible for your body to break down its extra fat.
