I Flipped My Switch Before I Flipped My Dip!
At last I think I've found my "switch" and flipped it back on, lol. I am feeling motivated again and ready to press forward. I'm going to change things up and hopefully lose 10 pounds by November.
I don't know what it is, but things can be going so great, then all of the sudden I'm in a slump, and seem to have lost motivation. Just out of the blue, no reason at all. I'll just feel a little burned out from too much exercise and constantly counting calories. I'll feel like I'm going to just "Flip My Dip!"
Then I'll go to sleep, wake up, and suddenly it's like a switch has been flipped back on, and I'm ready to go again. :o) Anyone else else have those days?

I get l like this but not on days... I can go months with working out and eating well.. and something like vacation comes up and it was like I left all my motivation where ever I had vacationed!!! I am back on track now... I am counting calories and working out 5 days a week. But even if I was off track it was only ever with my diet. I love to work out (thank goodness for that) I have 1.5 kilos to lose for my goal and I want to stay focused for that!! Maybe I can do 2 kilos! eheh october 15 is the goal date!!!
it does sound like burn-out to me. Taking time off from exercise can be a good thing I've read. I can't keep up my diligence 7 days a week, with counting calories. I relax on weekends.
Agreed. I did burn myself out, exercising 7 days a week. It's just too much. I got good results, but have decided to really cut back, and am already feeling much better. I guess I was just so afraid, that if I missed even a day of exercise, I'd fall off the wagon, and never get back on. But I've found out that is not the case at all. I've got my motiviation, and I'm on a mission to succeed! :o)
