what's the normal amount of weight fluctuation from morning to mornong?

how much does your weight fluctuate from morning to morning?

why is it up one day and down the next if you did the same things?

Body weight is a combination of fat, fluid, bone, organs, gut contents and lean tissue.  If you've eaten a lot and it hasn't digested... you're heavier.  If you're a little dehyrdated and retaining fluid... you're heavier.  Menstruation, exercise, food/drink choices.  All affect daily weight so that it's 2 or 3lbs either way quite easily

Week to week & month to month you're more likely to see the real direction your weight is taking rather than day to day.  If it bothers you to see gains as well as losses don't weigh too frequently.

I second that!

I would say on any given day I am up or down 2 pounds.  I just don't sweat it unless I'm up two pounds one week and then a week later I'm up another two and so on.  I've talked to some ladies I know and they can go up or down 3 to 4 pounds.  Don't sweat the small stuff!
